Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Asked whether he thought this might be another recruiting violation, Lane Kiffin said, "I don't know, but if one of the secretaries here leaves one of my NC trophies on a coffee table, I'll fire her."
This wouldn't have happened if Charles were desperate enough to visit FUCLA. Those Emerald Nut Can trophies are virtually indestructible.

fUCLA actually LOST the Emerald Bowl to Florida St. ... although the nut can trophy remark was funny.
Indeed, fUCLA is 3-8 in its last 11 bowl games. Not sure what trophy exists for the Sun Bowl (2005), Las Vegas Bowl (2002), or Cotton Bowl (1997). Its' last Rose Bowl victory was 1985.
