Will the horrendous and indefensible decision made by the members of the Song Girl selection committee to cut Keli Snyder go down in history in the same breath as the general manager who inexplicably chose Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan? And we all saw how well that turned out!

When you have had contact with the song girls of the 2000s, have you gotten the impression they have been completely intimidated by the beauty of Amanda Pflugrad? When they see her pictures, are they consumed with jealousy?

After doing a Google search for "USC Song Girls, following the official Song Girl website, there are a series of links for Busted Coverage on the very first page of results featuring embarrassing pictures of the Song Girls from this decade. What does the sports information director think about that?

Internally (as in the athletic dept. and the Song Girl leadership), are they aware of the anger surrounding Keli being cut from the squad?

How have they tried to justify leaving her out of the squad? Was she simply too beautiful for the squad and would create too much of an individual spotlight amongst the other girls?

I just don't see how they could've cut her. I mean she was one of the few girls this past year who did not have a scandal that embarrassed the university. What a tragedy. I'm assuming she isn't from Palos Verdes, which might have been the cause of her demise.

How was Keli dropped from the USC Song Girl squad, was it was because she is pretty?

With anger over Keligate reaching fever pitch, were you aware our favorite website for Song Girl sleaze, Busted Coverage, actually jumped onboard the Keli bandwagon as far back as September when they did a profile of her? Were they ahead of the curve and did the rest of us jump on the Snyder Saloon too late to save her from getting cut?

As other commentators have quite correctly observed, Keli Snyder is clearly a "top one percenter." During the period of 2000 to the present day, the 90 or so women who have masqueraded as USC Song Girls were, for the most part, bottom five percenters. So there is a major discrepancy between the beauty of Keli Snyder and what has been passed off as Song Girls during this decade. Obviously Keli's beauty overemphasized the vast gap and chasm that existed in physical appearances between she and the rest of the Song Girls from this decade, which especially came into play when the embarrassing squads of this decade reappeared for Homecoming in November 2008. There they were - Keli Snyder and her beauty and all those embarrassing former Song Girls from the post-1999 era on the field at the same time.

Subsequently, could there possibly be another explanation then for why Keli Snyder was cut as a Song Girl a couple of weeks following Homecoming other than to make sure she no longer embarrassed the bottom five percenters who had become Song Girls this decade when they clearly did not deserve to ever wear the white sweater?

Perhaps why Keli was cut is because she has "playboy" good looks and perhaps not that All American look that Amanda Pflugrad has. I don't know for sure, but Keli sure was something special...perhaps a little bit hippy, but definitely there were other girls that could have been dropped before her...like all the brunette carryovers from 2008.

We all know the daughter of the Song Girls' coach, Natalie Nelson, has been the source of quite a fair amount of embarrassing national scandals so was that seen as the motivation to cut Keli Snyder from the squad as Keli was vehemently anti-scandal and made other girls look bad by keeping her nose clean?

If someone who looks like Sarah Carmona can even become a USC Song Girl during this decade, despite the fact she never should have been a Song Girl in the first place, and managed to make it all the way to her senior year without getting cut, yet someone infinitely superior in every way such as Keli Snyder gets cut as a sophomore, isn't that all the proof that's needed to show the selection committee clearly no longer have standards or care about the product that is put out there to represent the university?

In response to Gordon's comment, Keli Snyder in my opinion was and so far always will be the most beautiful USC Song Girl ever.
