Jesus Christ they need to annex Jefferson into the campus. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often. Terrible tragedy. The families should have never had to suffer through this.
A sign of the times-- hit and run felony driver. What percentage of L.A.'s population would have reacted the same way?-- 10%, 20%, more? I believe in God but have difficulty in believing in my fellow humans much of the time.
Of course late on a weekend the odds are the driver was DUI and probably felt he was no worse off by making a run for it than if he had stopped to render aid. This way he may never be caught and will skate.
What happened to the plans to annex Jefferson in to the campus? I thought they had it all planned out? At the very least, pedestrian bridges should up over Jefferson at Hoover, Figueroa and may be McClintock. My prayers go out the family of these young students. What a tragedy.
