About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

How is Jeff Byers' weight this spring?
Hi Scott. In studying the buzz on the 2009 new recruits, along with reviewing how the 2008 recruits are expected to do, it is interesting to me that for every class there are highly rated recruits to do not see much of the field during their entire USC career. I realize some transfer, but most do not. Since you have an opportunity to talk to most players, can you tell me how some of these players, say, a Carswell, ellison, or Campbell, who were 4 star players out of high school, deal with the fact that they decided to go to USC where they got very little or no playing time when they could have gone to a lesser school and started?
Did Pete Arbogast ever comment on his "sex chat"? Can you give us a link to the video?
Did Chris Claiborne actually announce that he's retired as a player?
Looking back, right now it would seem to me that the 2008 football recruiting class was underrated.
I know you don't have much to go on yet, but, right now, based on their reputation, film or lives games you saw, positions that they play etc., do you think the '09 recruiting class will underperform or outperform their rating?
Of course, we'll all know much more as time goes on, but lets say they had a consensus rating of number 4, and as of right now, can you just take your best guess, as you know these players in general better than the ratings services. Thanks.
When you wrote about Armstead being tried at DE, there were 5 guys you mentioned. I know Perry, Jackson, Horton and maybe others can play DE, not counting freshmen, but who else do we have that can play inside on the defensive line? Off the top of my head, I can think of DaJohn Harris, but that's about it, so anybody else? Thanx, Scott.

You touched on the fact that Mitch Mustain and Mark Sanchez have different personalities and backgrounds and were therefore never that close. How was the relationship between Hollywood Matt Leinart and Good ol' Boy John David Booty?
Who goes to the guillotine first if pray tell USC should lose three games this football season?
Another local paper created a top 10 list of current UCLA "players" that could start for USC. Which Bruin, if any, do you think could earn a starting job on the 2009 Trojan team? I think Verner is the only player with a chance.
