Mark Few, Jamie Dixon, and Reggie Theus are the top candidates I think to be the next basketball coach.
What about Bob Knight, he is one of the top coaches and would be great. Also,I think Rick Pinto could be interested, win at USC and become a legend for him.
USC needs a big name hire and theses guys will do it Theus was in thr NBA and will relate to players. Dixon is a great coach who will rival UCLA. Few has had great teams and has recruited on the west coast. Bob Knight is a big name hire and will coast less. He could bring discpline to the program. Pinto is a long shot and is a winner.

My bet is most USC fans won't care if Floyd leaves. The USC basketball program is on the upswing, going in the opposite direction of the bRUINS, and these Westweird fans are worried after they got the snot kicked out of them by the Pac-10 Tournament Champion Trojans.
Quite honestly, it Floyd leaves, that creates an opening for a more qualified leader and better-dressed recruiter who will make sure the better players wind up at Galen Center instead of rat-infested Pauley Shore Pavilion.
