It's very quiet in Tucson too right now with everyone waiting for some news. Don't try to call Tim Floyd. His voicemail box is full.

This shouldn't be so hard. Either this is your last job, Timmeh, or it's not. All this drama is just feeding Timmeh's fragile ego.
Again, this is much like Bibby & UNLV back in 2001 or 2002 (I try to wipe clean the Bibby era from my memory). If Timmeh's wants to go, then go. If not, then say so, today.

Tim isn't available because he's speaking with Memphis.
Did I miss where Tim Floyd became such a desirable coach?
He doesn't recruit the right type of players from an toxic NCAA cloud perspective, doesn't recruit for the needs of his team (how many 6'6-6'7 wings does he need), essentially has more players on scholarship that other teams because he hires the parents of recruits, he plays a very short bench and often loses control of his emotions and makes a mockery of himself.
Aside from the person locker room access he gives me despite the looming NCAA sanctions, I hope he stays at usc so they never flourish.
Perhaps Floyd is just meeting with Arizona (and potentially Mephis) to talk about scheduling...just like he did with Indiana a year or two ago.

Why would a ruin be on a SC blog? I wouldn't waste my time on a fucla site. I come to SC sites to get information about my school, not read stupid comments from petty little ruins.

ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT, FLOYD HAS LOST ALL CREDIBILITY
Absolutely rejn. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I really hope he doesn't go to Arizona.
Trojan Conquest - my above post is repeating all the sorts of feedback I've read other Trojans say about their own coach. Calm down, dial it down, and realize that everyone is talking about usc. There is a saying, "keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer". Nothing is wrong with keeping tabs on other teams. If you'd like to bury your head like an ostrich then by all means, go ahead. Its a global world out there, wake up!

Floyd's going to string this out for as long as possible. This is probably his last Sally Field moment ever. "You love me! You really do love me!"
PS, as noted by a Deadspin commenter"
"Idaho/New Orleans/Iowa State/Chicago/New Orleans (again!)/USC. . . . Yeah, this will work out just fine. He's like Larry Brown . . . but not as good at his job."
