Now that the quality of the SC Song Girls has dropped to the level of the Stanford Dollies, should they compensate by emphasizing "an extremely complex and sophisticated style" as described in Mary Ellen Henson's seminal tract "Go!Fight!Win!:Cheerleading in American Culture"?

A: I think reader should study this publication before we draw any conclusions on the topic.

The members of Girls Aloud are in their early to mid 20s which would put them in the same age range as former song girls from the 2000s. The five ladies in Girls Aloud are all rather pretty, physically toned and popular. So taking that in consideration, if the Girls Aloud ladies had tried out for the song girls during this decade is it more than likely they would have all been cut by the arbitrary selection committee?

A: Well, no one from Girls Aloud is from the South Bay so that would serve as automatic disqualification. However, if they got past that barrier, the fact they can sing would probably be the final straw.

Is it true that American Idol judge Paula Abdul was asked to serve on the SGSC, and that she turned them down saying she did not wish to tarnish her integrity?

A: Ouch.

Does the very lovely Keli Snyder know who Girls Aloud are? If yes, who is her favorite Girls Alouder?

A: Again, we need to ask on that one.
