Put yourself in Mike Garret's chair. What changes or additions would you make to the athletic program? Also, what current situation would be your greatest concern Bush, Floyd or the economy? Fight On!
A:Today my biggest concern is the NCAA, but the economy is a close second along with keeping Pete Carroll at USC. I think his other issue is hoping any allegations concerning Tim Floyd are the result of someone who did not get what they wanted from O.J. Mayo. Otherwise that might be concern No. 1. As for changes I think the baseball program needs rescuing from its current situation.

If the state sells the Coliseum, does USC have a right of first refusal, or some other contractual mechanism in place, to make it likely that USC becomes the new owner?
A: USC did discuss this option last year with the Coliseum. What is not clear to me is what input the county and city would have since they are on the commission and this issue is in their sphere of influence. I doubt anyone else would even want to buy the Coliseum if it were for sale.

Have you been questioned/asked to testify by the NCAA or any legal authority in connection with the Mayo/Bush investigations?
A: No, I have not. I was questioned by the NCAA in a previous investigation but not the Bush case.
