I bet there won't be any complaining in the Trojan Nation if SC goes to the Rose Bowl for the 5th straight year. That means our boys would be playing in the national championship game, and it being virtually a home game, SC would undoubtedly be favored against anybody, probably Florida.
Of course, there are obstacles in the way-- Ohio State, Oregon, Cal. SC has to have a mature running attack to avoid having Corps shoulder comebacks. Should be a great season!
Talk about over saturation.

Christmas in Dego land.
Funny, GTG. After reading the post, I was thinking how fortunate the Bruins were that the Emerald Nuts Bowls was scheduled at night, so the Bruins could still enjoy Xmas day in Pacoima, and then catch a flight the next morning to make their big bowl game in San Fran that evening.
DFW- You have to remember, it's CHEAPER to drive to SD than fly to SF.
I stand corrected, GTG. Early line on the 2009 Poinsettia Bowl: Wyoming -2 1/2 over UCLA. This should be a real catfight for the prestigious Poinsettia Pot.
I'll take Wyoming and give the points!
DFW and GTG, I appreciate your effort, but lets get real guys...its gonna take at least 6 wins to get to the Poinsettia. I think Neweasel and Co. are better off scheduling their vacations for that time.
Roby Toma might have been the difference between 4 & 6 wins. Neuweasel should not have run the kid off.
Hey LJ-
Hate to be a nit-picker, but "if USC goes to the Rose Bowl for the 5th straight year," as you stated, then it will not be playing in the "BCS Championship Game" the following week that will also be held in the Rose Bowl, per the schedule provided by Scott.
Fight On!
