Memo To Caesar
As I mentioned last week, the Olympic Stadium in Berlin handed out free beers, soft drinks and water to the first 55,000 fans at today's soccer game between Hertha Berlin and Schalke 04. Now, since Caesar cares so much about the masses (and twitter), how about arranging a similar deal at the USC-San Jose State game for the legions?
Or does twittering take up all free time?
Scott, I'm pretty sure it would be illegal to hand out free beer in America. Besides, it's not like you could hand out good beer. I doubt 1000 of those fans even know what Sam Adams tastes like.
And handing out non-diet soft drinks would probably prompt a Congressional investigation into obesity, with Song Girls from earlier this decade being star witnesses. Really dude, you need to think about what kind of message such a stunt would send to the children. It's all about the children.
