USC's in fourth place after Day 1 of the West Regionals track meet in Eugene, Ore., as high jumper Manjula Wijesekara won with a jump of 7-04.5. Corey White finished third in the javelin (237-07).
The women are in seventh place thanks to Eva Orban's victory in the hammer throw (220-05).
