Do you really believe the explanation given that Nicola from Girls Aloud is deliberately putting on white powder to look pale? I just don't buy it. Look at her legs and arms -- they are just as pale as her face. I simply cannot believe someone deliberately attempts to look like a ghost so she could create a "trademark look."
Wolf: an educated guess please: assuming the basketball violations are well-founded but there's no smoking gun or new evidence in the Reggie Bush matter, what sanctions if any would you figure the football team gets? (P.S., no one cares about SC basketball).
Scott, is Floyd as good as gone?
So Nadine Coyle moved to Southern California and immediately opened up a pub? Was she simply doing her part to add to the stereotype of the Irish?
Wolfie- According to the worldwide sports leader, there has been some discussion recently about the Pac-10 reverting back to a schedule with 8 conference games. What is your opinion on the matter and how likely is it to become reality?
Here's a link to the story:

Will Marcus Johnson be on scholarship next year? (Yes, some people do care about USC basketball.)
SW, so with the new allegations facing Memphis (and possibly Calipari), and any possible impending action (or REACTION) against USC for REG-OYD gate and any other universities, what do you think of the way the NCAA is handling actions against university athletic programs? Is the NCAA doing enough to help curtail the "quote" illegal recruiting of some student-athletes and said playing of ineligible players? One other question (sorry), if you could fill the spot of Myles Brand, what changes would you make to help change the current "bad seed actions" by some (okay A LOT) of universities? Fight On!
Unlike the Mayo situation where his questionable relationships were publicly known before and during his playing career at USC, I don't recall hearing rumors about Bush until after he played he last game and his disgruntled former marketing agent started complaining. You are well-connected at USC, when did you first know about the Bush allegations (the house, New Era, etc.)?
Whenever Girls Aloud perform, they usually alternate the positions the girls stand yet Nicola is always on the sides, never in the center. Could they be getting ready to PhotoShop Nicola out as if she never even existed, following the lead of the USC Song Girls?
Scott, do you know anything about Mark Sanchez dating the GQ model?
Scott:
When you see footage of Girls Aloud, do you freak out as much as I do over the sight of Nicola?
Scott,
You take jabs at athletes, institutions, and (most of all) coaches for their fake twitter accounts, yet you never post original tweets. You just use a bot to auto-post your blog stories on twitter.
What's the deal with that?
Wolfie, USC said that they are in the "process of granting" Noel Johnson's release. Do you think they will drag their feet and try to talk him out of it? And, why would USC grant his release? Typically doesn't USC, and all universities only grant releases for extraordinary circumstances? We have invested a lot in Noel's recruitment, he knew about the NCAA investigation, and it is very late in the game after the spring signing period. I presume you can address this with one answer. Why would USC grant his quick release, which is based on implausible Internet rumors and seems to go against USC's M.O.?
Wouldn't the perfect venue for all the Fight Club scenarios be a place that is accustomed to fights on a daily basis such as, oh I don't know, an Irish bar?
So will Nadine's Irish Mist be the site for all the fight combinations we all want to see?
Floyd has remained silent in response to Louis Johnson's latest allegations, presumably on the advice of USC's counsel. Do you have any insight as to whether Floyd wants to talk about (and hopefully refute) these allegations, if allowed to do so? Or, is he glad he does not have to respond at this point?
Also, did Floyd in the past ever provide any explanation as to why Guillory was allowed access to the program, despite his prior involvement with Trepainger? (I apologize for the multiple, yet related, questions.)
Any insights would be great. Thanks for the forum, Scott.
Do you think SC can get Girls Aloud to perform in the Galen Center since there won't be any basketball next year?
Mr. Wolf, thank you for the daily updates, out of the major CA recruits, who do you think are a "must-get" recruits (e.g Powell, Wood, Stills) for USC in 2010?
I hope this lame question doesn't violate the one question limit but are you getting free drinks from the Irish Mist? Thanks.
USC and Florida reportedly withdrew scholarship offers to Georgia high school wide receiver Markeith Ambles despite both schools high on the player's list due tooff the field issues. Ambeles was going to visit USC twice in June. What was the problem that USC had to take away a scholarship offer from one of the best wide receivers in the recruiting class and will they re-issue a scholarship maybe later if everything is cleared?
Why is poor Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud always so unlucky in love?
Scott, last week I asked about what you would do if you filmed an agent giving a player cash.
You said you would first tell your sports editor, and then confront the player. Suppose the player said something like, "Oh yeah, I've got 3 or 4 agents doing that because they want me to sign with them, and some of my friends do too; guess there's nothing wrong with that as long as it's kept quiet."
My follow up question is: Do you think your editor wants to run the whole story, and, is there anyone else you would like to talk to first?
Everything is hypothetical, of course, but I betcha stuff like this goes on all over the country, usually under the table. Thanx, Scott, for last weeks' answer and for handling this one too.
Scott, have you ever given any suggestions to PC or any of the other coaches that they have actually taken , and, if so, could you tell us some? I'm thinking of football here, but actually, if there are none of those, then any will do. Scott, this is the slow time, even for questions, as we await our fate from the NCAA, and the start of Fall practice.
Thanx for continuing the forums.
There are rumors and stories going around that when when current signee Bryon Moore decommitted from USC( after previously decommitting from UCLA) weeks before National Signing Day and he started to look at LSU and Ntore Dame only to sign with USC at the end that he did the 'fake decommitment' for publicity reasons and to have his announcement on ESPNU.Sounds like another Randall Carroll episode. Is this story true and can you tell us anything about it?
Will USC redshirt Devon Kennard since there too many defensive ends ahead of him and to make sure he is fully recovered form his injury? What about redshirting James Boyd and Kevin Greene?
Do you agree with the LA Times scathing article that SC has adopted a win at any costs ethical attitude?
Somewhat. I do think it's an arrogant position, even though I don't think all the facts are known. I do know that if we are guilty, we will pay the price and heads will roll. I do not think anyone in the AD knew about Bush or OJ, if those allegations are true. I cannot say the same for the coaching staffs, although I doubt Pete is dirty. Don't know about Tim. Assistants? Who knows? But I know all the fucla pukes have all the information and we are guilty.
