Where else in the world can we have questions about Tim Floyd and Wayne Rooney in the same blog?

Q: davidallen760 said:
Which number will be greater this year: Trojan victories or Tennessee recruiting violations?

A: I think recruiting violations will win by a landslide.

Q: Sam Gilbert said:
Do you believe Wayne Rooney is overrated and do you ever believe the Brits will stop calling him "passionate (about the sport)" and switch to "immature?"

A: If Wayne Rooney were Spanish or German or French, he would be immature. But he's English, so he is passionate. That's how it works in England.

Q: osezno said:
Will the "resignation" of Tim Floyd help USC if/when penalties are given by the NCAA and will any penalties be given to the next school Floyd coaches?

A: I definitely think Floyd's departure helps USC's chances with the NCAA. If the NCAA decides Floyd committed major violations, they would not punish a school that hired him. But they could ban him from coaching an NCAA member school for a period of time, which is what happened to former Cal coach Todd Bozeman.

Thanks for the Rooney answer Scott. I still wonder why he didn't get any grief for his red card in the 2006 World Cup for stomping on Ricardo Carvalho while Beckham was crucified for kicking the Argentinian player in 1996.
