HI SCOTT
Do you know how many "silent commits" we have as of right now, following the Rising Stars camp? Thank you very very much.

A: I've heard of 2-3 right now, but like I've said, the recruiting process is going slowly on purpose to keep things as low-key as possible following last season's loss of several commits.

If you exclude Dwight Lewis, who would be the hands-down fave as our returning leading scorer, which other Trojan hoopster would you predict to be MVP for Coach KO's squad next season?

A: I think it might be Leonard Washington at this point. Alex Stepheson will be a very important player but I don't know if he can be the No. 2 scorer. He will probably get plenty of shots though. He's another possibility if Washington struggles.

Do you know why USC has only offered one scholarship so far to a 2011 player? That player is George Farmer. Why is the 2011 recruiting slow.

A: Like I said, the evaluation process is going to be very deliberate with USC and offers were going to be slow in coming, especially before the Rising Stars camp. Pete Carroll is not going to rush into decisions right now.
