Answer Wednesday! (Part 4)
With no trip to Serbia, we hear Kevin O'Neill is meeting with athletic dept. types and he becomes more familiar with how USC works.

Scott,
Today on PTI Micheal Wilbon called "the hiring of Kevin O Neil is the most bizarre hire of all time."
Do you agree?
A: I wouldn't say it's the most bizarre of all time. I think it was surprising because he was not someone that seemed to draw a lot interest when openings arose nationally. But I've come around to kind of like the hire, and I'm willing to give him a shot. Hopefully, he won't shoot himself in the foot.

When Tim Floyd was hired by USC in 2004, at his press conference he was asked about how he felt not having been USC's first choice for the position of basketball coach, to which he responded "Well, I wasn't my wife's first choice, either."
At Kevin O'Neill's press conference this week, the exact same response?! Word for word.
Did you pick up on this? Is there any originality left?
A: No, there is no originality left. Look at Digger Phelps. He stole my cheerleader idea!
It's shameful how coaches will copy or steal from each other or others with no guilt.

Most bizzare hire of all time was replacing Chow with Kiffen
I'm on the wall as far as saying the hiring of Kevin O'Neil can be described as bizarre but I will support any claim that the hiring of 90% of the sports personalities that appear on PTI are.
stole the wife line from Bob Toledo they both did.
used that line Toledo did when hired by UCLA.
number one in sports, academics and quotes Bruins are.
number two USC is.
