Is this too light? I really have no idea what a QB is supposed to be.

Anyone know the weight of Leinart, Sanchez and JDB in their college days, or Barkley and Mustain now?

Corp is 6'4" so 205 pounds makes him a twig.

It's prolly a bit to light.

Leinart was listed at 230, Sanchez at 227, Booty at 215.

Mustain's prolly around the 225-230 mark, Barkley's big, at least 225 right now, could because Stafford sized in the future - 235-240.

Also, guys like Corp, with thin frames to being with, tend to lose weight as the season progresses. Plus Corp will be asked to run, which will add to the hits he takes. I think that's why although Corp will become the starting QB at the beginning of the season, the staff will push Barkley as if he will be a starter because I am sure there is a slight concern that Crop may have trouble making through a season.

I think Corp should contact the Ting's for some "supplements".

Corp should hang out with Weis for a few days.

Corp can find an open receiver over the middle but its obvious he can't find the cafeteria.....seriously how many years has he been here hovering at 195/200 lbs?? Have him room with the linemen and make him eat double what they do every meal....is he trying to stay thin for a male modeling career post-graduation like the Tings?

Perhaps some of the 'middle-agers' forget how difficult it was for many teenage boys to gain weight. I know I tried at SC, hitting the donut shop for 6-donuts at a time, and McDonald's for 8, yes 8, small hamburgers for lunch. Didn't help. I remained 6'2" (the food didn't change that) and 187 pounds all through SC. Not exactly an intimidating figure was I.

Now, I recall some pretty good running quarterbacks who were not behemoths: Fran Tarkenton, Michael (kill the dogs now) Vick, and Texas' Colt McCoy.

And Aaron has been around for a while at the high school level and now at SC going on 2-years. So he has been physically tested. My feeling is he is going to be healthy and he is going to be great.

Nice posts, but leave the kid alone. Gaining weight for weight sake is not cool. The trainers should be working / building his strength and stamina. C/O Flax and that Nevada QB they got they same frame and are great QB's. I just hope he runs out of bounds and come back and go deep.
