OK, we had an overwhelming response and most of them had the same wrong answer: Tim Green.
Here's the question again: The 1984 USC team won the Pac-10 title and the Rose Bowl with a victory over Ohio State. A turning point of that season occurred in the second game against Arizona State when starting quarterback Sean Salisbury injured his knee and was lost for the season.
Who replaced Salisbury in that game and helped the Trojans defeat the Sun Devils, 6-3?

Correct answer after the jump.

Kevin McLean, a redshirt freshman from Lakewood, completed 7 of 12 passes for 80 yards in that 6-3 victory.
