yeah I'd have to say that sounds about right. How did Garrett mess up the Theus hire??? as pointed out on this blog, he would have been a monster recruiter in LA and i know for a fact UCLA alums were very worried about him coming to USC.

I honestly think that Garrett passed because of concerns about Theus as an Xs and Os tactician, and perhaps, Sample was leery of Theus' AAU experience and fringe recruiting practices. But, I would have loved to have given Theus a shot. No doubt, he can recruit.

So when is good ol' Lou climbing out of his grave to give Garrett a kick in the nuts?
