Isn't Marcus Johnson coming back? If so, I think he would start over Vucevic. Besides, we don't even know if Vucevic is coming back, he might stay and play proball over there.
The bench would be Simmons, Vucevic, Diarra and Lil Romeo(Gerrity comes midseason)? Man, it's going to be a long year at the Mercer center. Oh well, tix will be cheaper and I won't have to park very high up the parking structure.
Actually, now that I think of it, the pressing issue is, getting the ice cream machine fixed.

Vucevic needs to polish up his outside shooting, and Lewis needs to be more consistent. Yes, Marcus Johnson will provide some nice offense. One of the few (the only?) who could penetrate to the basket. He also provides great D, and Marcus Simmons has proven he can shut down other teams' point guards. There's still enough talent on the team to be middle of the Pac. We'll see if O'Neill can have them competing to finish in the top half of the conference (and earn a 4th straight trip to the tourney). Haven't researched it much, but at this point, I think only Arizona, UCLA and Washington will have a clear talent advantage over USC.

Gerrity is the starting point guard over Donte Smith for sure. I think Marcus Simmons will work on his ball handling to start the season at point before moving to shooting guard and defensive stopper. It's not a bad top 6 or 7.

We were hoping to see Lil Romeo start at point when you guys visit Pauley.
That is why he was offered a scholarship, right? Some people accused SC of offering a scholarship just so he would deliver DeMar. I am afraid the more cynical people watching may think just that.

Yeah, apparently CTF was grooming Marcus Simmons to play some PG last season. He may start the season over Donte. Then, Gerrity may take over at game 10, I think.
