Former USC forward Taj Gibson said it was hard to believe that USC coach Tim Floyd resigned.
``I was very surprised when Coach Floyd resigned,'' Gibson said. ``He was a great coach. I wish him the best. He called me when I declared for the draft and we talked. It was good to speak to him.''
