I know nothing of this "USC Baseball" of which you speak as we all know there is only one sport at this school. But to use that sport as an example. How was USC Football supposed to get better after losing a Heisman Trophy winner* and the best defensive player of his generation?

*I know it's confusing as there's so many but the Heisman Winner I'm talking about is Carson Palmer.

That's the nature of the beast in college baseball... each good program gets its roster raided and must somehow overcome it. Often, it's not a matter of getting better as much as regrouping better than opposing schools do.

GoTroyGo, what a complete juvenile you must be. The topic was about baseball, and who is the only coach MG has hired for that sport, Chad Kreuter with a below .500 record overall in three seasons. Hey, forgot to mention other top coaches Garrett has hired like Paul, Henry, Charlie, Turhan, Jim, Chris, Mark, Richard, Rick, Dave, and Tim. Oh yes, Madoff was real successful and wealthy too. Wonder how many games you attend during the baseball season? Love to debate you anytime, anywhere about sports especially to do with the Trojans.
