Respectfully, the person in charge of the program - Tim Floyd - had to approve the signing of OJ Mayo. While OJ Mayo obviously doesn't help, Floyd is the one who agreed to take OJ Mayo when he was being delivered by a "runner" who previously caused problems for the program.
