Answer Wednesday!
We're still grinding out the answers to the forum questions,
Q: At the Rising Stars camp at SC, I presume a recruit has to pay all his expenses[?], and, also, why would a guy from out of state even bother to come if he already has an offer from the school of his choice, or is the type player who could already go anywhere he wants to?
A: A recruit does pay his airfare and expenses to come to a camp. Many do not have offers at the time but they also go to visit a school and meet the coaches extensively for the first time. It's a chance for a recruit to decide if he is comfortable with a school as much as giving the coaches a chance to evaluate talent. It's also a chance for some recruits to see how they match up against the best competition.
Q: The Wizard of Troy said:
If a group of USC football players spend next Fourth of July weekend in Newcastle, how do you think that will turn out?
A: There's no such thing as a disturbing the peace in Newcastle because there is no peace, so there would not be any incidents as long as the USC football players are not wearing Sunderland jerseys in the city center.

Nantucket is certainly better for limerick material so I vote for Nantucket as the official 4th of July destination for USC midgets, muscle men and sloppy-drunk co-eds.
the Trojans went back to Nantucket,
but where did they leave the puke bucket?
