Answer Wednesday! (Part 2)
Still time to ask questions in the Weekend Forum.
Q: Sam Gilbert said:
People seem to assume Landon Donovan is the best American soccer player in the world but others have broken into the more respected leagues overseas while he has not (successfully).
Why do you think he's become the poster-boy and who do you think are actually the top American players in the world?
A: He is the best known because he's scored the most goals. But if you look at guys like Brian McBride, Kasey Keller, Brad Friedel and Tim Howard, they've enjoyed far more successful professional careers. I think Freidel has to be considered the top American right now. Even Clint Dempsey, playing for Fulham, is doing more professionally than Donovan.

Know of any good L.A. Galaxy blogs?
A: I cannot vouch for them personal but lariotsquad.org and bigsoccer.com have Galaxy forums that fans of the team seem to follow.

Here's one LA Galaxy blog:

Scott, this soccer thing is getting ridiculous. Aren't you the "USC" beat writer? Isn't this the "USC" blog? We hardly ever get USC news here. Maybe you should move to Europe and get it over with.
Seriously, isn't this "Inside USC"?
Thanks for the answer Scott.
It looks like Oguchi Onyewu is stepping up with his move to A.C. Milan.
Thanks for the links Wolf.
