Phil Steele lists Chris Galippo as the 10th-best inside linebacker in the nation. That's pretty good when you have not started a game yet.

And while it may be hard to argue the point of Galippo being the 10th best Inside LB in the nation, you have to take a step back and look at the ranking source. I think to have faith in Steele, would be the same as believing Wolfeee's "top 25". It just don't work. Fight On!

I think he would be fine. I have seen them practice from the SGM building and the LB corp looks fast. He better be good, or else someone else will be hungry for that spot, i.e., Jarvis Jones. Fight on!

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
