USC coach Pete Carroll had an explanation for one of Matt Barkley's interceptions this morning: ``There was a great play where we doubled the wide receiver and Matt couldn't see the coverage.''

"Carroll dismissed two of the interceptions out of hand, saying that one was a tipped pass and the other was the fault of a receiver who cut behind the defensive back rather than in front of him."

Honestly, shouldn't everyone be concerned if this potentially great defense with all this experience in the secondary was NOT getting some INTs?
