About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

How is it to so called "idiot" OSU fans are smart enough to do what USC fans dream would happen at the Coli, but never will. Let me guess Sunshine Pumps, its a coincidence.
Scarlet and gray trained seals. There's nothing else to do in that town but frequent Bob Evans or Golden Corral. Most of their fans act like 10th division British soccer fans who didn't get their GEDs.
There's nothing else to do in that town ...
if they had ghettos and laker fans, they could burn the city down
Here's another thought, who cares if they show up in a sea of red. As a matter of fact, its better to have those fans so up in shirts/ sweatshirts/ coats. I would much rather have the "California Girls" showing up to the coliseum the way the do (half dressed). As those boys from the beach one sang, "while the Midwest farmers daughter make you feel alright, I wish they all could be California girls! Fight On!
@kptrojan... Are you sure that wasn't David Lee Roth that sang that? I think he was from the Valley.
I'd like to see comparison with the crowd 2007 Nebraska game. Today is the 2nd anniversary of that slaughter!! Anyway, I think it might have been the same exact crowd.
I went to the game and one of the most interesting observations was that 85% of the people, men and women, wore jerseys, and was told this is quite normal. It was amazing for the look of the crowd, but you will never get LA people to do this.
Hey oregon 111, so Columbus is like Eugene?
The sea of red is pretty cool but IMO the "dotting of the i" is the lamest tradition in college football. I mean, the guy gets his interview with ESPN shown before the game? Come on.
BoscoH, the Beach Boys originally did the song, DLR did a cover of it later.
BoscoH, oops you're right, I forgot about David Lee doing his own rendition of it. All in all though, OSU can have their Sea of Red and the "i-dot". Nebraska can have the second largest city in "Nebraska" (during the fall). I'll still take the sunshine-kissed "California Girls", flashing that "V" inside the coliseum. Fight On!
Heh! Yeah, I know. Now, someone make a Stairway to Heaven reference and I'll snark about the Jay Z version.
Hey oregon 111, so Columbus is like Eugene?
Can't say for sure about that one, I live in Portland.
And I certainly can't say much of anything that is good about Portland, certainly not the economy or all the nutjobs up here.
But Eugene is pretty small and laid back and is close to some of the best (unknown) mountain biking in the country, lots of camping and uncrowded lakes and great white water kayaking. I camp and mtn bike there every fall.
Around Columbus, there is lots of corn. And EVERYONE from Columbus will tell you that it is better than Cleveland - whatever that means.
