Ohio State does not let sophomore quarterback Terrelle Pryor speak to the media except after games. Buckeyes coach Jim Tressel is a notorious control freak, but maybe this helps explain his decision as Pryor spoke about Michael Vick after the Navy game.
``Not everybody is the perfect person in the world,'' Pryor said. ``Everyone does -- kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me. I just feel that people need to give him a chance.
``I always looked up to Mike Vick and I always will, because I still think he is one of the best quarterbacks," Pryor said. "I love Mike Vick.''
Pryor is breathtakingly stupid. Shockingly stupid.

You're right. Over a year ago Locoweed warned me that quite a few over here could care less about the US Military and the veterans. Your intention is very commendable but it falls on deaf ears. This is the third California blog where I have encountered such hostility toward the US Military in the last few days(two in SC, one in NC). Suffice to say it is taken for granted much less appreciated.

I side with Scott on this one. It was an appropriate blog about a topic that is buzzing the talk shows.
The people who commment about it should be personally accountable for what they say, rather than rely on the benevolent judgement of Scott's censonship to keep them from looking like idiots. Anyone who is offended need not read.

The big thing to remember is, this is a dopey 19 year-old kid who can play football, really well! Nothing black or white about this or his comments. I get the feeling this will not be the last time he opens his mouth to say something stupid.
