Scott,
Does Lou Holt really count?
Yeah no question he's an expert by today's standards. I love the way Espn uses that term.
3-7 last week; 8-12 on the year! Bet your house on his picks
An "expert" beat reporter just posted a link from an "expert" columinist on his "fantastic" blog.
I guess you can't get much more expert than that.
I honestly don't see SC having a "letdown" game this year. I think that if they lose a game it will be a legit loss, where they get outplayed, and not where they come in underestimating the other team.
The composition of the team just seems different this year. I think the ohio st. game took care of any overconfidence. It will be interesting to see if an SC team with less hype and less finished talent can accomplish more than the last three teams did.
While I thought the exact same thought as just4sc, I do feel the game for Sark will be his bowl game, and thus he will try to go for it all, and thus feel the game will be much closer than most do.
You have to look for upsets to pick. And on paper this one has all the trappings. And if Barkley-McNight-Stafon-Mays were not up to stuff that only adds to it.
remember how close it was in 2007 and all the Trojans that got hurt. The Huskies stood tall vs. LSU. All they need are some miscues.
