How long before Brandon Carswell is suiting up for San Jose State?

Why aren't ALL the receivers pushing for playing time? Pushing in the weight room, on the field, in the film room, to John Morton and Jeremy Bates. Tey should be pushing the QB to throw more after practice...OH that's right, he can' even through a ball across a hash mark.
This group has to be ready to go. Push yourselves to be the best run blockers you can be. Push yourselves to do every bubble screen, hitch and slant to perfection. Push themselves to catch every lame duck death ball thrown their way, because they won't come very often. They have to play above and beyond the next few weeks while they continue to bring along a hurt freshman to play QB at major college football program.
With the broken winged freshman at the helm again this week, what's the over/under on flee flickers that USC will have to run to get a pass off that can go further than 7 yards? 5? Three running backs in the backfield and Mustain back deep on all punt formations. Might have to punt a few on 3rd down this week, after another potential 0-10 showing on the horizon. Fake punt on 3rd and straight punt on 4th. Better option than having the kid that can't comb it or wipe it throw a 7 yard comeback.

Don't waste you time with this idiotic video. It's just the rah rah's trying to make people who actually think SC should beat POS teams feel guilty. The rah rah's are totally fine losing one or two games a year to inferior teams, heading to the gawd awful Rose Bowl on New Years day and then thumping their chest after another Big 12 dud goes back home a loser. They spout how " Next year will be different. Pete has recruited another top blah blah class, did you see how we handled team X? WE'RE BACK !!" Next year comes, SC gags to another totally inferior team or teams and the rah rah's go into CPA ( Cover Pete's Azz ) mode.

Um, it's the Big 10 that USC beats in the "gawd awful" Rose Bowl. Of course, there was a time when the "gawd awful" Rose Bowl was the ultimate goal for a Pac-10 team. I guess that is what happens when Carroll raised the bar so high after his arrival. FSC - I don't think you are a USC fan, but if you are, you're a spoiled brat. If not, then you're just a hater.

I'm not happy that USC loses to an "inferior" opponent seemingly every year. But, no one has done a better job since 2002 than Pete Carroll. No one.

Where's Travon? 4 star, top 25 position recruit. Track star. Big playmaker in practice. I though this might be the year for Travon. And, oh yeah, Ausberry sucks!

FSC is not a USC fan. He has to be a UCLA troll. There is no other explanation.

Cal would LOVE to go to the Rose Bowl this year; same with Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, SUCLA, Washington, Stanford, Oregon State and Washington State. Each of these schools would put up a banner in their stadium in recognition of this great feat.

But over at SC they only hang national championship banners. And the fans and even the players seem disappointed when they "only" qualify for the Rose Bowl.

As much as it pains me to even THINK this, have we become the exact opposite of Oklahoma/Ohio State? They can't win the big game and we can't win the piddly games that we're heavy, HEAVY favorites in. This is 4 years in a row now that we should have CLEARLY beaten teams that we did not.

(Stanford - That was on Pete. You can't ask a college quarterback "are you ok to go" at half time and expect the kid to be honest. Booty plays the 2nd half with a fractured wrist - or arm, can't remember - and our defense can't stop pass plays down the stretch. I mean who would have thought they'd go with pass when they are playing from behind and we've stopped the run? I mean really.)

(UCLA - Bad play calling and a complete inability to move the ball down field)

(Oregon State - Why PC did NOT pull the ENTIRE first team defense off the field in the 1st half and let them know they are NOT going back out on that field until they get their heads in the game. Our 2nd team defense could have done AT LEAST as well and held up until the 1st team could get fired up and go back in).

(Washington - Play Calling, Play Calling, Play Calling. Oh and can someone PLEASE tell me WHY in the heck we give receivers 10 yards off the line of scrimmage on every down?!?!? Didn't we get taught that lesson in that Stanford game 3 years earlier?!?!?)

The reality is, we have no one to blame but ourselves. We only feed the SEC / Big 12 yahoos more and more when we lose meaningless games to nonranked teams on a yearly basis.
