You're an idiot. You needed to get a quote from Matt to explain the bad pass? I saw it during the telecast on Sat why didn't you? Matt got hit from behind halfway through his release. As a result he couldn't follow through and the ball floated on him. It was actually a good read and would have been at worst an incompletion had he not been hit...
This is not news. Here is what Micheal Lev said on his blog THREE DAYS AGO:
"Freshman quarterback Matt Barkley played virtually mistake-free football — except for a later interception where he got hit as he threw the ball..."
So why is Wolf reporting it now? 5 possibilities:
1. Wolf saw it differently. If so, let's hear it.
2. Wolf just writes about Barkley picks out of habit.
3. Wolf mistakenly thinks he got a scoop on this one.
4. Wolf is completely out of 'inside' material.
5. Anything to avoid answering all those forum questions!
on fridays, can we have a post to predict how many interceptions barkley will throw???
My favorite part of Scott's post? Barkley "said" he got hit on the play. Written like Scott thinks Barkley's making excuses or just making facts up. For crissakes Scott do some damn research just once...
