Johnson Update
Pete Carroll said tailback Stafon Johnson's physical condition improved Thursday.
``It's amazing how he is dealing with it,'' Carroll said. ``He's up and around and getting out of bed. He looks like he is OK, to tell you the truth.''
Johnson underwent more than seven hours of surgery Monday after accidentally dropping a weight bar on his neck.

Scott,
I must apologize. I was one of the first people to throw stones at you after UW and WSU for not being a "credible reporter" and "having a grudge against PC."
This past week you have shown your true colors as a USC fan and supporter. I stand corrected when I questioned your loyalty to the school or dedication to reporting the facts. I feel you have done an outstanding job in the wake of the SJ tragedy and helped to focus the fans on the bigger picture, USC Community.
I wish it didn't take such an unfortunate event to bring everyone on blog back-together but, unable to change the past, I am happy we can look past our recent disagreements and realize we are all routing for the same team (UCLA rebel-rousers excluded).
At the end of the day, we have been blessed with an AMAZING football program for the past 7 years, the likes of which will never be duplicated. What makes this even more amazing is the FACT that we are not yet done with our dominance, some could argue we are on the verge of peaking once again.
Here's to a GREAT GREAT remaining season and a shot at the title against Urban and his Swamp Rats.
Is he off the ventilator?
