USC kicker Jordan Congdon is 5 for 5 between 20-29 yards and 1-3 between 40-49 yards. Should Jake Harfman get a shot outside 40 yards? Or just 45 yards?

Harfman should definitely be kicking from 40 yards out. Congdon is reliable and accurate when it comes to the short field goals and extra points, but he just doesn't have the leg for the longer kicks. Even if he occasionally makes one from outside 40 yards in practice, he's not nearly consistant enough to depend on him for those in games.
If they aren't gonna let Harfman kick the longer field goals, they might as well just go for it on 4th down every time they are on the 23 yard line and beyond.
