Who Has Less Discipline? Part II
I asked yesterday who had less discipline: USC's football team with its personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct penalties or the band, which had Art Bartner screaming at them after they started harassing a Notre Dame player?
Well, the band reports the incident yesterday occurred when Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate bumped into a drummer and the drummer yelled an expletive at Tate. That caused Bartner to yell at the drummer. So I'm not sure if that answers the original question or not.
I saw that, and I was sure that Tate kicked the bottom of the kid's snare.
Tate did hit the drum! He acted as if it the SC band were in the wrong place. The drummer just reacted as anyone would have. He should have cracked him in the head with the drum. Maybe the refs have a different set of sidelines rules for the Irish...like hitting a guy five feet out of bounds and offering a no call. I could put together a fifteen minute ref "lowlight" reel. Seriously, we should have won my 30!
