About That Colorado Job
Quarterbacks coach Jeremy Bates would not respond to that previously posted Internet report that said he could be a candidate at Colorado if Dan Hawkins is fired.
``I've learned being a coach's son you can't look ahead,'' Bates said.
Colorado is currently 86th in the nation on third-down conversions but that is superior to USC's 100th.

Wow they're better than us on third-down conversions?! It must be those juggernauts they're facing in the Big-12. They did win road games @ Ohio State and Notre Dame, right? Just making sure...
Well, actually, Colorado has played @ West Va, @ Texas, @ K St, and is about to play @ Ok St. There goes your Colorado schedule theory. How can you possibly try to defend our #100 ranking anyway, sc10?!? Are you Jeremy Bates? In which alternate reality of yours is #100 good?
From your article this morning:
"His father is Jim Bates, the defensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It seems implausible Jeremy Bates would be a serious candidate, what with USC's offensive struggles, but he spent several years with the Denver Broncos"
Wait a minute. Of course Colorado will hire Jeremy! Does anyone else see the parallels to Tennessee?
BoscoH:
With ALL due respect I hope you're NOT a fisherman. I'm a pretty good angler. The point is you camouflage the bait if you plan to land a good catch. You certainly failed. I smelled it a mile away. SW is blatant and he doesn't hide. You have to do better than that.
Back to Bates ESPN reported the same rumor meaning Bates can't be all that bad, hello? Stay tuned.
