Aaron Corp's knee injury in fall camp has always been blamed on "a lineman" falling on him but the media, to the best of my knowledge, has never mentioned who the lineman was. Do you know the name of the player who forever changed Corp's life?
A: I know there were a mass of linemen on the play but I might look into further just to see for your question.

HI WOLFIE
Assuming that you were the defensive co-ordinator for the Trojans---and that PC gave you full power---what changes would you make besides changing that stupid soft pass coverage that PC likes?
Thanx in advance as always, and thanx for the forums too.
A: I would play Taylor Mays closer to the line of scrimmage, to force offense to respect the run defense more and also to make the defense more aggressive and provide more support to the linebackers.

In respect to the four INT's for Barkley (only charged with 2) against the Beavers and HUGE INT's thrown late in games that lead to TD's against both ND and OSU: Does Barkley know what color jerseys USC is wearing in any given game? Do coaches review this in the 4th quarter or do they think he has that down by then?
A: For whatever reasons, interceptions have come late, including the end of the Oregon game. The coaches think he has everything down judging by their answers to the media.

SW, I have a slightly different question, but related to your H. Bawles Q&A: did you see any changes in practice this week that might suggest that we'll see Mays playing closer to the line of scrimmage or see a change in the soft pass coverage philosophy?
What the hell is the difference? AC is AC and FB is a violent sport>end of the story. Don't make USC a soap opera like MM did at Arkansas...
Allow me to answer Keith's question:
The responsibility for the late ints against ND and OSU lies 5% w Barkley and 95% with Bates. Those were both horrible calls- on our own 40, 3 and 14 against ND on the road, when we could salt the game away with a run and a punt; again on our own 40ish on 1st down when OSU had no answer for the run.
Terrible, terrible play-calling that allowed both teams back into the game.
If you've ever played QB at any level, you know that interceptions, absent something like a fallen receiver, must be at least 50% attributable to the QB. Play-calling is play-calling; execution is execution.
