That puts SC @ #8 or #9 if they win out.
PSU vs OSU, PSU out
OSU vs Iowa, Iowa out
LSU vs Ala, LSU out
ALA vs. Florida (both teams in BCS)

Texas vs SEC winner for "NC"
OSU vs Oregon - Rose
SEC loser vs TCU - Sugar?
Cinci vs Georgia Tech - Orange
Boise vs USC - Fiesta

With only Fla, Boise and USC with wins over BCS teams.

Really, only ND could knock us out with top 12 finish...how sad would that be?

can not believe almost everyone is writing off USC as a bcs at-large.

USCfan - not writing them off totally, but after Saturday, those 4 remaining games look awfully tough, even though only the ASU game is away.
Trojans could conceivably lose all 4 of them if the injury-bug strikes like it did yesterday.
The ASU game will determine how much the team really can put it all together like it used to be, and do it on the road.
I have a sense, though, that the Kook-Aid has gotten to too many of the players

@USCfan -- I'm thinking everybody is scaling back expectations in light of the recent play by the D.

ND needs to finish in the top 8 to get a BCS bid; they need alot of help to get that done.

so far its 2 BCS busters(TCU/Boise St) who will get 2 bids, and that leaves one spot open. it will either be USC or #2 Big Ten team.

USC fans need to root for Ohio State the rest of the way, and hope everyone above USC loses so there is not second guessing. also look out for Utah possibly becoming a BCS buster too if they beat TCU on Nov 14. So Nov. 14 is important to look at for, Ohio state/Iowa and TCU/Utah.

Does everyone think Oregon will win out? I do not think it is as written in stone as it looks. Oregon State runs a similar offense, and "it takes one to know one." And of course, there is the letdown factor. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of weeks.

"Boise vs USC - Fiesta"

i would love to see that and boise lose by 50
boise fans are the worst

im a duck fan and just want to see oregon take care of the rest of schedule - its fla/ala vs texas in NC

oregon st will be jacked for revenge since the ducks knocked them out of the rose bowl last season

*uck all the teams like tcu, cinci, boise, utah, houston etc. - boise plays about 1/2 its schedule non-conf and the play all pu*sies except 1 game

*uck the sec / *uck tebow

usc is not dead - they just got pounded from mid 3rd qtr to most of 4th qtr - they can still beat most other teams

if barkley would have connected with the tight end and that fumble not been overturned, it would have been a different game

with the offense that pete runs, you have to have a very accurate passer or they will just stack the box

Notre Dame must win out and achieve 14 ranking to send the Trojans home for the holidays. Fiesta Bowl will have to choose between a USC 10-2 or the IRISH 10-2. IRISH will have the Heisman favorite, Michael Floyd, Golden Tate, and the #1 BCS eligible offense in college football. Who do you think they will choose?

USC needs a big win this week to impress the Fiesta Bowl committee, and a big turnout of their fans. TCU will win-out, USC must win-out convincingly, and these two teams could be in the FB. Of course, Texas has to go to the NC game.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
