Camp Award Candidates
In the old days, the Walter Camp Award would include a USC player among its 15 players to watch. Today, the award included three players who faced the Trojans: Stanford tailback Toby Gerhart, Oregon State tailback Jacquizz Rodgers and Notre Dame wide receiver Golden Tate. Here's the full list.

Rolando McClain, Junior, LB, Alabama - 77 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3
sacks and 2 interceptions
Colt McCoy, Senior, QB, Texas - Completing 72.3% of passes for 2,792 yards
and 19 touchdowns
Kellen Moore, Soph., QB, Boise State - Leads nation with 172.49 passing
efficiency

so which is it.. SC players get on the short list BECAUSE they are SC players or they aren't on the short list because they aren't as good?... seems you want to have it both ways... rhetorical question because we all know you don't read the comments (wink wink)
