I guess Scott is inferring that Spencer Keith is a better QB.
Jones, Daniels, and Parker are redshirt freshman. Shinskie is 25 years old and played pro baseball. Keith and Forcier are the only other legitimate comparisons -- and I'm not taking Kent State seriously given their schedule. Forcier has shown some flashes this year, but he gets pulled consistently for the backup and they just lost to Illinois yesterday -- whose only other win this season was over Illinois State.
I'm not saying we shouldn't criticize Barkley -- but, seriously, Wolf, a little context is essential for your blog posts sometimes. NONE of these other quarterbacks (except maybe Jones, who wasn't even supposed to play) were handed the keys to a program anywhere near the level of USC. One loss on the season -- and wins AT Notre Dame, AT Ohio State, and AT Cal are pretty damn good.
agree with barko...jones and maybe forcier are the only legit comparisons here.
