use The Force, one must, to tackle properly.

"It's a matter of getting it done," Darth Carroll says.

After next week, we will have played 6 of 9 on the road, including 4 games against ranked teams on the road! Anyone else in the country done that? We have the most difficult schedule thus far of any ranked team, per Sagarin. The road ahead is much easier.

The glass half full says that we have been through a brutal schedule thus far, but it is all downhill from here. 10-2 and the Fiesta Bowl is a strong possibility.

Usually after you abuse your body and have too much to drink, people suggest you have a 'Hair of the Dog'. So I suggest to Pete he just have a 'Feather of the Duck'!!
I wonder if Pete counts Ducks instead of sheep when he can't sleep! 47-20

Yoda, please tell us who you do support so we can look for a positive comment somewhere. You may also want to change your moniker since George Lucas is a Trojan alum. (herh herh herh) Meanwhile, the game did look rather sick, clearly the defensive coaching slipped up. Hopefully Pete and the rest can learn from this mistake and make the needed changes, lots of them. And since the NC is probably a lost cause, a Fiesta Bowl would be a nice change from another New Years Day Big Ten beatdown in the Rose Bowl.

SoCalMAB, here's a hint: the trolls on this site root for a team that remains winless in the Pac-10.

I find it ironic that Yoda writes of tackling properly, yet his baby blue team claims they haven't been tackling properly. I guess he would know!

For the record, Yoda does not know who George Luckas is. However from the information available, it is Yoda's position that Mr. Lukas is some kind of douche bag.

This is how we know that Pete is getting old and out of touch with the kids. He should have said that watching the films "made me throw up in my mouth".

Yoda can't speak for himself huh? Hiding like 13-9 was awhile back? Mr. Atty, of whom do you speak - who is George Luckas? Mr. Lukas? On November 28, take a stroll through the SC campus, by the new film school and check out the correct spelling - it's there among the donors. Or next time you're in the movies look for "Lucasfilms" around the Skywalker or THX credits. As for thinking George Lucas is a "douche bag" - sad to think that your "client" feels that way about his "creator." Beware, if you're really an attorney, your "client" will probably feel the same way about you some day.

Grand Master Jedi Yoda does not recognize George Luckas as his "creator". The childish depiction of Yoda in Star Wars IV A New Hope as a hand puppet with a Chinese accent was a grave insult to my client (not to mention the Chinese).

By order of the Jedi Council, I hereby advise you to Cease and Desist any further slander, libel, defamation or rumor-mongering about my client. Lest you feel his light saber forthwith and henceforth.

Yoda should take his light saber home with him to twilight zone where he resides with his B-ruin faithful, and continue his fantasizing from there. Who is George Luckas?
