About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Barkley held onto the ball too long. There were receivers open but by the time he threw to them they were covered.
couldn't help noticing that the last few games, Bark's ubiquitous cocky grin has now turned into an expression of mouth-agape confusion. is Caesar still talking Heisman for his BFF?
I am only pleased to see that the onus of the season is off Aaron Corp's shoulders because of the second loss SC sustained at Oregon. Not that it was likely SC would have played in the national championship game even if it had run the table, but Corp received unfair criticism for that loss that could have just as easily been blamed on two fumbles by two other Trojans.
That said, I only wish Carroll had not jumped all over Corp's performance and now is letting Barkley off the hook. He does come across as being hypocritical in this limited situation, which is not Carroll's style.
First of all, let's be honest: even in Barkley's worst game (ASU) he didn't play as poorly as Corp did in his only game. Also, Barkley has had a few really good weeks to fall back on, while Corp's turd was the only bit of evidence of his quarterbacking skill.
That said, it is troubling that Barkley now has 4th quarter INTs in his last 4 (at least) games. That is not a good thing to have on your resume.
And Scott, is it really necessary to have two separate links to the same story? Really, I think we can all figure out where to find the "valuable" tidbit by scanning your entire story.

He lost the MM battle 2X, go figure...
Really Sureshot?
Passes behind, too low, too high, into empty space, interception, almost interceptions, missing open receivers, some good plays mixed in…
Little Pete @ ASU?
Corp @ UW?
Exactly – almost the same game except the USC offense fumbled the game away on Corp, while the USC defense got 4 takeaways against ASU. Plus Corp had to play in the rain with the USC coaches’ knife in his back, while Little Pete had to play with the USC coaches’ lips attached to his butt.
BTW:
Little pete ASU:
7/22 122yds 31.8% 1 TD 1 int (6/21 47 yds total if you take out the all D Williams 75 yder)
Aaron Corp UW:
13/22 110yds 59.1% 0 TD 1 int
If the USC defense doesn’t come up with the pick6, 9 time Heisman winner little pete loses the ASU game the same way USC lost @ UW. We get enough double standard from the main stream media, no need for it here. Just the truth!
