About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

HS FOOT: Friday football schedule in Daily News High School Spotlight

Well, I think SC actually played 6 or their first 8. they didn't show up at Washington or Oregon. Or did you mean playing 6 of first 8 on the road?
Great question. Depending on which of the 5 games you pick for USC to not play, it likely would be undefeated.
You need a copy editor.
"Did playing 5 of the first 8 games hurt USC this season?"
1-I hate it when teams feel they need to play the majority of the games on the schedule each year
2-I know two games that we should have skipped.
3-Did 5 of the first 8 semesters of Scott's college have English classes that were too hard?
hrm, maybe it should have read "Did playing 5 of the first 8 games _on the road_ hurt USC this season?"
Too funny! LOL!
Duh!
It may have hurt the Trojans, but it probably allows them to run November again and go into the bowl season on fire yet again.
What if USC plays SEC runner up in New Orleans. That would be a game that would bring in the $$$$ to the Sugar Bowl. That is a very attractive bowl game but leaves the Leftover Bowl in Glendale between BSU and TCU...
Let's see, Florida, Texas, Bama, and LSU have all only played 3 road games thus far, and USC plays 6 of it's first 9 on the road. Yes, our schedule is not BCS friendly. USC does not play the BCS game. And, then we complain when we get screwed by the system.
It will help in the long run. Barkley now has the experience of playing at some tuff venues. It will benefit him next year and the year after.
It is going to help in the long run. Barkley has played in some tuff venues as a true frosh. He will benefit from this next year.
As Trojan fans we are spoiled. The prospects of an 11-2 season frustrates many, but how many schools would love to trade places. Many of those complaining are the same who predicted 2-4 losses this year.
11-2 or 10-3 is a pretty good "re-buildng" year.
wow 73% cry babies on this blog. Ooh! ooh! we played games on the road!! wah!!
what about 4 of the last 6 at home?? isn't that just delicious?
Charlie Bucket is such a pansy.
trojansc10: you're lucky you didn'y say that to my face because i would scratch the daylights out of you.
