Pete Carroll went to an afternoon game featuring Narbonne High School of Harbor City, which is lead by safety Sean Parker. He returned to USC for practice and then left for Westchester to watch defensive tackle Dakota Smith, who already committed to the Trojans.
Offensive line coach Pat Ruel flies to Minnesota on Friday to watch offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson, rated the No. 1 player at his position by some recruiting services. Carroll is expected to several games Friday, including Edison of Huntington Beach, which has linebacker Jordan Zumwalt. He committed to Stanford but is considering USC.
