Marcus Simmons, who was not an offensive threat for the past two years, scored 18 points and helped make Kevin O'Neill's debut a success.

Pretty good considering we were without starters Alex Stepheson, Leonard Washington, and Marcus Johnson. I think this team should definitely surpass expectations.

Also, we won our opener! Can't say the same for UCLA.
