USC Wins If . . .

Here's a few reasons why USC would win.

USC WINS IF ...

The Trojans want to go to the Holiday Bowl. Pete Carroll's opinion of Rick Neuheisel transfers to his team. Quarterback Matt Barkley throws less than three interceptions. Punt returner Joe McKnight does not fumble. Tailback Allen Bradford gets 10 carries. The defense does not allow UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince to scramble all over the field.

What difference does it make at this point? They have made fools of themselves in front of the whole country twice this year. No one even cares anymore what happpens to USC except the delusional fans who still think USC is going to a BCS bowl.

Even if they win today, which is a huge IF considering
idiot Barkley will probably toss 4 more INT's, they will get pounded by Arizona. Not even 1 mention
of trying Mustain? After what "Mr. INT" Barkley is doing?? Guess not..

It's time for Carroll to either step aside to the
AD spot or Assistant AD, or make drastic changes to
coaching staff, who starts, his whole philosophy. There
have just been too many ridiculous losses to Washington
and Oregon St. and Stanford 2007 and UCLA 2006..it's obvious this team is not prepared for many games and
PC has no ability to keep them focused through an
entire season. And a collapse like this year, with
all the talent on this team, McKnight, Bradford, Galippo, Mays, etc..is inexcusable.

It's time for Garrett to call Petey into his office and
find out what is going on and what changes are going to be made or Garrett will make some changes himself.

It is time for Garrett to step aside which would be the best thing for the athletic dept. and making Carroll the AD while still coaching a few more years. The only problem I have with Carroll is his stubbornness sometimes on making decisions and hiring of some asst. coaches even a second time around.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
