Frankly, I'm getting sick of this. I live on the East Coast and it's getting so I can't wear my Trojan gear around without catching hell for this stuff. Uncle Pete needs to get this under control, like yesterday.

To be fair, this trivial kind of stuff happens at all major programs. The news is just amplified at USC in LA. One of the ESPN headlines today is USC has three academic casualties, while I bet almost every single bowl team has academic casualties. USC operates in the limelight.

UCLA, which claims to be superior academically, has two academic casualties for its crappy bowl game. But since UCLA is crappy and no one follows their football program, it isn't big news.

United States China Bowl...LMAO But let's be honest...HE isn't going to drive the range rover up to Nor Cal, his girlfriend is.

I love how the blind trOJies play the "it happens everywhere but only at SUC is it noticed" song and dance. Really? Prove it. Bruins aren't the only ones waiting for the NCAA to come down on SUC...so is the rest of the country.

Another blog post summed it up best, "McKnight's latest NCAA violation is like crashing into the courthouse when you're on trial for a DUI and then failing a breathalyzer". Just doesn't get any more stupid than that. Cheat on, tOeJams!

Wouldn't the superior academic school with superior standards ding more football players who didn't cut the mustard? That means USC 3, fucla 2.

Charlie Scum Bucket disappeared once he heard UCLA has academic casualties for its "bowl" game as well. That huge "thud" this afternoon was all those UCLA alums and "fans" falling off their high horses - guess that ineligibility bug is contagious, eh Scummie?

If UCLA football players were so smart, they wouldn't have decided to play for a second-class football program whose basketball team will be bringing up the rear in the Pac-10 standings this season, too.

McKnight was going to leave after this season anyway. He has to take care of his family. He would've been wearing his NFL logo socks in the bowl game.

He announced he was coming to USC by referencing a Reggie Bush-Pete Carroll phone call (a recruiting no-no), only to have his high school coach and Carroll say he was mistaken. He will leave USC driving in the Land Rover he says he never drove, only to have Tessalone say he was mistaken. A handful of amazing plays, too many fumbles, and unmet expectations in between.

He denied that he ever drove the vehicle to a LA Times reporter? After he was seen driving around in it for several weeks? After he registered the vehicle with the school? And HE is academically eligible?

Jim Harrick and Rick Neuhiesal agree that the cover-up is ALWAYS worse than the alleged misdeed. (By the way, DeSean Foster thinks that you bRuin vultures, er, trolls have a short memory.)

I like reading Yoda too. His posts make me think of him as what he probably is - a pimple-faced fat-fart loser using a computer in the dimly lit basement at his mom's place, a 30-something wannabe who is obsessed with Star Wars figures and probably has memorized every Captain Kirk scene from Star Trek.
