I think when you look at the body of work there's no question that Gerhart deserves the Heisman... He put up more rushing yards and almost twice as many touchdowns than Ingram did total yards and rushing touchdowns... And Gerhart's body of work was against a tougher schedule... Ingram also has a 50 yard game 51 yard game and 30 yard game and 2 other games this season that he didn't even put up 100 yards...

Gerhart put up more rushing yards and twice as many touchdowns than Ingram did total yards and touchdowns... and Gerhart did it against a tougher schedule (according to the Sagarin ratings).... Unless you want to vote for Suh, who would be what Carroll calls an "outlier".

Another reason to vote for Gerhart is that he played on a team without all the 4/5 star athletes surrounding him, and achieved greater success in spite of those odds. Truly one of a kind, and personally, I am glad to see him leave the farm!

if Bark has some decent receivers who did not run bad routes or let the defenders take the ball from them, to spoil what were otherwise perfect passes from Bark, he would be the Heisman frontrunner, no doubt about it.

As long as Tebow doesn't appear on your ballot, I won't be able to argue.

My ballot would probably have Suh, Gerhart, and Ingram in some order. It's tough to say how they should be ordered, but if you are simply looking at the single best player (regardless of team success) Suh and Gerhart are head and shoulders above everyone. That being said, McCoy will probably win the thing even though he had a mediocre year against mediocre competition.

You CANNOT vote for Mark Ingram!!! He is not in the top 12 in TDs or in the Top 4 in rushing! Ingram had only 15 TDs to Gerhart's 26 with one more game! Ingram averaged less than 120 yards rushing per game. If you are inclined to vote for Ingram, then look at Gerhart's stats and you must give it to Gerhart. Bama almost lost 2 games this season, and won with Defense!

However, with 4 losses, I wouldn't vote for Gerhart either. Tebow should not even be considered. Look for good stats on a winner.
