There are only two hours left to vote for the Heisman Trophy. This is the most difficult choice since I started voting with several candidates are worthy of making a case to win.

I think when you look at the body of work there's no question that Gerhart deserves the Heisman... He put up more rushing yards and almost twice as many touchdowns than Ingram did total yards and rushing touchdowns... And Gerhart's body of work was against a tougher schedule... Ingram also has a 50 yard game 51 yard game and 30 yard game and 2 other games this season that he didn't even put up 100 yards...

Another reason to vote for Gerhart is that he played on a team without all the 4/5 star athletes surrounding him, and achieved greater success in spite of those odds. Truly one of a kind, and personally, I am glad to see him leave the farm!

Texas should have brought tanks and helicopters to strike down SUH...zilla. I turned my TV onto black and white for special effects. This guys whole season and stats should be sending people out running in the streets!

if Bark has some decent receivers who did not run bad routes or let the defenders take the ball from them, to spoil what were otherwise perfect passes from Bark, he would be the Heisman frontrunner, no doubt about it.
thanks a lot, Southern Cal receivers, you cost Bark the Heisman.

As long as Tebow doesn't appear on your ballot, I won't be able to argue.
My ballot would probably have Suh, Gerhart, and Ingram in some order. It's tough to say how they should be ordered, but if you are simply looking at the single best player (regardless of team success) Suh and Gerhart are head and shoulders above everyone. That being said, McCoy will probably win the thing even though he had a mediocre year against mediocre competition.

You CANNOT vote for Mark Ingram!!! He is not in the top 12 in TDs or in the Top 4 in rushing! Ingram had only 15 TDs to Gerhart's 26 with one more game! Ingram averaged less than 120 yards rushing per game. If you are inclined to vote for Ingram, then look at Gerhart's stats and you must give it to Gerhart. Bama almost lost 2 games this season, and won with Defense!
However, with 4 losses, I wouldn't vote for Gerhart either. Tebow should not even be considered. Look for good stats on a winner.
1) Colt McCoy
2) Kellen Moore
3) Toby Gerhart
4) Suh
5) Golden Tate
6) Mark Ingram

#1: Spiller from Clemson - he is reggie bush version 2
#2: Gerhart - mvp of running backs/carried his team
#3: Ingram - he brought his A game to sec championship,
but this would be more of a team heisman
#4-125: nobody
#126: McCoy - he did everything he could to knock his team out of NC, but didnt succeed
#127: Tebow - can we end the tebow praise-a-thon now?

TrojanRick, Gerhart had a great O-line and a very good QB, regardless of how many stars they got at rivals.com
But I agree with you when you say you are glad to see him leave
