Notes:

1. Cooper got a little carried away, perhaps he was trying to be funny, but a reprimand is not in order since he apologized

2. What is with this cross-over of SUCLA idiots coming on to the SC blog and consistently, constantly, and crassly commenting about SC?-- Personally I take it as a backhanded compliment because if SC was irrelevant there would be no attention. Personally, when I see spedjones or charlie tuna or whatever he calls himself etc etc I don't read the post and move on to the next.

3. Still, the vile and vulgar language that is used not only on this blog but on SUCLA's is disconcerting to say the least. But it probably is inevitable because anonymous people will display their worst behavior i.e. driving, at a game, or on a blog.

4. Look at it logically, why would SUCLA hate ol' SC and be placing all their hope on SC sanctions? Because SC owns SUCLA, that is why-- 10 football victories in 11-years, a Pac-10 Tournament Championship in 2009 with a wipeout victory over SUCLA that resulted in SUCLA being sent to a more difficult regional (and predictable wipeout loss), and now another wipeout in Pauley with the fan base exiting the stadium early in disgust, dismay and depression.

In sum, it don't get no better than this.

Since when does USC's administration show any sort of control over it's coaches? Let's talk about it in the locker room!

Yeah, I used to think Painter had some class, but this last story seems less than tacky and she's just trying to hook some notoriety. I do however, have to say I enjoyed Brian Dohns objectivity on his Blog.

haha. I got my SC acceptance letter the 2nd week of November. Before I even sent my UCLA app out. It was a nice fallback, but certainly not the place for anyone looking for a real education.

I like the hire of Michael Cooper as coach of our women's basketball team and think he's a shot in the arm for the program, but for a representative of our university to conduct himself in such a disrepectful manner is an embarrassment to USC. To use the F word, even when discussing UCLA, reflects poorly on USC.

You can dislike UCLA or ND or anyone else, but conduct yourself with dignity and class when representing our university, Coach Cooper.

At a university like both SC and the wannabe magnet school on the westside, however, when the football coaches are dishonest, totally lacking in ethics and integrity, cheat on the rules, you need a refreshing and honest, outstanding coach like Michael Cooper.
