Q. Matt, were you surprised that Ken Norton Jr. is departing with Coach Carroll and do you think it is a good move by Coach Carroll?

A. I was a little more surprised to hear (Jeremy Bates) was gone?

I wonder if Pete left a "Dear John" note for Matt. Good thing Pete did not adopt Matt & then marry him. One Woody Allen is enough.

(1) Aren't these incessant, abusive, profane and nasty comments from the SUCLA cockroaches unbelievable!
It only evidences that they are so envious of SC football that it makes them sick. Keep 'em coming worms because it only validates what a great thing SC has going, decade after decade.

2. Barkley undoubtedly was talking about Carroll, and how it is only a surprise to the uninitiated i.e. everybody outside the players and coaches, that Carroll would bolt for a "sweetheart deal." Come on, folks, he has been seeking this for years now, interviewing with pro teams practically every year.

3. Carroll leaving has left me quite depressed. I even had a fight with my wife when she said she hoped it rained every day in Seattle while Carroll is there. But I will only recall how he brought class, enthusiasm, good looks, national championships, and a sense that college football was the greatest sport on earth to ol' SC.

I too am so depressed. I also had a fight with my wife over this devestating event. I wonder if LAWYER JOHN handles divorces. FIGHT ON!!!

To the Attorneys, there is a silver lining to this, if, SC makes the right hire, things as we have known them will continue. Keep your chin up!

i can honestly say that i've never been to a bruin blog. why you ask? well why would i?

so why do countless bruins, that space troll from star wars, and charlie continue to come here? you'd think they'd have lives of their own. clearly, they do not.

All the morons that keep bashing Barkley are losers. What kind of people attack the accomplishments of another person. The kid is 18 or 19 and is the starting QB at USC. If only the losers who bash him were 1/10 as talented, dedicated and fortunate. To boot, the kid is in good with Pete Carroll's. Here's wishing a boatload of success and goodwill to PC, Barkley and the entire USC team.

i did speak with Unemployed USC guy and Yo-Duh's (hologram) today and we agreed that although many object to UCLA's presence on this blog, in the final analysis, we had to ask ourselves: how can it be wrong, when it feels so right?
