We hear Aaron Corp still has not asked for a release from USC although there are reports he will transfer to Richmond.

I wonder what is going thru PC's head about this. Is he thinking I really screwed this kid? Is he thinking good... I now have another scholarship to give out, is he thinking I need to really hold onto Mustain or, is he thinking how is this going to affect my recruiting?

He's probably thinking, wow, now Scroggins won't be upset too.

What ever Peat is thinking you can be sure of one thing: How it benefits or otherwise affects Peat. Good Luck at the new place Corp and make Carroll look worse than he is increasingly looking.

I just read in Bleacher Report that Corp has been granted his release. He's going, going, gone.

And if Mustain doesn't stick around another year to sit the pine, then what? What happens if Barkley gets hurt?

Mustain can only transfer to a NON D-1 school due to eligibility. Maybe he and Corp both go to Richmond and battle for the QB job.

I think we all know the right choice was made starting Barkley over Corp, Matt proved he's going to take this USC team back to the top. I feel bad for Corp because it didn't go like it did for Leinart and Sanchez where they took over after sitting the bench, PC did what was best for USC and that was starting a true freshman, what does that say about how good Corp was?

No we don't all know that little Pete was the right choice. In case you missed the entire season he was obviously not ready yet. What everyone DOES know is that Pete's behavior on this QB circus was freakishly unexplainable, that AC got screwed, the play calling sucked, and lots of morons want to believe it was all AC and that USC will be all better now with little Pete. Well you probably got your wish - it's all little Pete now. Heisman and BCS title next year for sure eh?
Glad to see AC go someplace he has a shot at being supported by his own coaches and get a pass off without a knife in his back. D2 kinda stinks, but I think that means he doesn't have to sit out a year.

Not D2, Division I, FCS, that means they really have a NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!

realityUSCcheck,
I agree with most of what you posted. However, the Div AC is going to does not SUCK. They are good. Unfortunately their great coach just left Richmond and went to Virginia.

This conference is very competitive. The players are coached up to their ability. Also, AC's core abilities will be put great usage if he competes well.

Richmond is the Colonial Conference and this conference is no joke. Richmond had 11-2 record and placed third in conference. The conference champion Villinova is the Division I, FCS Champion. The conference consist of James Madidson that raped App St the same year App State raped Mich. Also, in the conference is William and Mary that upset Duke. Also, New Hampshire the place where Chip Kelley came from.

Richmond is rated at 60 by Sagarin. This is above Ariz State, Northwestern, Minn, SMU, Kansas, and shitload of other notable colleges.

I look forward to montoring AC's progress. The competion in the conference and team will be stiff. He will get the coaching he needs. The Division I, FCS coaches don't get 5,4,3 and 2 star atheletes. But I guarantee you if USC played these schools at end of the 1st quarter they would know that they better have it strapped on tight because these boys will knock it off. Additionally, the 757 area code is loaded with atheletes. This confernce produces many coaches for FBS. We could use an OC and DC from this conference.
